Nissan Juke Nismo 2013

Nissan Juke Nismo 2013 went out of shadows during Tokyo Auto Salon.

Nissan Juke is considered quite a polarizing proposition, detractors admit itís the worst thing ever since the Pontiac Aztek, even though its fans embrace quirky styling of the car.

If youí belong in the former category, youíre unlikely to like the new 2013 Nissan Juke Nismo. It has just been unveiled during the 2013 Toyko Auto Salon and includes the crossoverís baroque curves which are clad in a substantial body kit with a reshaped front bumper, as well as a redesigned spoiler, together with LED fog lights plus new side skirts.

According to Nissanís report, these modifications in the exterior contribute to 37 percent increased downforce in comparison with the stock model. Itís for the better that the body kit wasnít tacked on in favor of appearance, but the question is, does a driver really need this extra grip?

As for the power

The Juke Nismo has a turbocharged 1.6-liter engine that produces around 197 hp, which is more than the 188 hp output of the present-day turbo-4 Juke, but muchl under the 480 hp number claimed for the wicked Juke-R. Anyway, the all-wheel drive new Juke Nismoís engine is mated to a mandatory CVT equipped with what Nissan calls a ďclose-ratio 7-speed manual mode.Ē

The Nissan Juke Nismo 2013 goes on sale this February, in Japan, leastwise. So far, however, no hint has been dropped at when the vehicle is going to appear in the U.S.
